Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist

Investment Property Group (IPG) is currently seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to work at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA. This position will last approximately 6 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Timely and accurate processing of all invoices related to a designated group of properties
Process checks for payables entered by onsite staff for assigned properties
Ensure payables have accurate General Ledger codes and proper approvals
Enter and process payables for utilities, corporate bills and other reimbursements to properties
Post monthly recurring journal entries, accruals, and impounds
Process 1099’s annually.

REQUIREMENTS:
2-5 years of accounts payable experience
QuickBooks experience a plus!
Must have basic knowledge of general accounting and be able to do A/P account reconciliations
Must have the ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented, work well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
