Operations Analyst - Corporate

 The Operations Analyst will have a lead role in managing the day to day operations of a large residential portfolio (13,000 spaces/ 85+ communities/in 6 states/ with several hundred employees) This new position will provide access to high level experience immediately and a path to a bright future in real estate / property management, and more. The position includes meeting delinquency/collection goals, invoice review, report entry, high level problem solving, data entry, collaboration with other IPG departments, and requires excellent verbal and written communication and follow up. It is essential to bring solutions, and work efficiently without the need to be supervised.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position\'s primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by entering, analyzing data and communicating providing leadership for the organization\'s financial functions.

Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

Job Requirements:
- 1+ year of Real Estate/Property Management experience OR a Bachelor\'s Degree in Real Estate or Business related field

Responsibilities:

- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
- Collections/Delinquencies- responsible for ensuring site staff is abiding by existing polices as it pertains to Unlawful Detainer’s, collection efforts, and excel in keeping Delinquency percentages under the policy threshold.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (Sales, Operations, Accounting) through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between Regional Managers and property level staff.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Coordinate large real estate acquisitions efforts and communication.
- Participate on the creation of training, assist on site level training efforts.
- Regular meetings with Director of Operations and other executives as needed.
- Support any and all operation’s needs.

Operations Management:

- Oversee End of Month Reports, Quarterly Reports. Assess these for accuracy, forecast capital improvement needs for the property, assist in the efforts to collect proposals.
- Analyze proposals to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee short and long-term managerial reporting.
- Managing day to day processing of invoices for accounts payable, producing reports as requested.
- Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports.
- Managing vendor contracts and reimbursement requests.
- Maintaining and archiving and administrative files.
- Ensure that requests for payment made to the Accounting Department are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external parties.
- Help develop long-range forecasts and maintain long-range Cap Ex plans.
